We try not to keep coffee on the shelves for long, so if we don't have a particular coffee in stock, we have to replenish the order after the roasting day. We roast on Tuesdays and Thursdays, pack the coffee and send it out on Wednesdays and Fridays.
So what really? Santa Monica Lychee is a coffee that has undergone an enriched fermentation. Immediately after harvesting, the coffee fruit was placed in fermentation tanks for 72 hours in the company of lychee fruit pulp and wine yeast. Only then did it undergo further, already more classic processing, used to extract the beans from the fruit. The result - a fruity frenzy that will throw itself at you as soon as the grain is milled, and then it only gets better.
Is it subtle? Not quite. This coffee attacks straight away and takes no prisoners. If you are a fan of balanced, classic beans, this is not for you. But if you like experimentation, intense flavours and aromas - you will not be disappointed.
