This is one of the more complex tasting coffees we've roasted recently. You'll be hit with notes of dark chocolate at first, followed by tropical fruits, citrus, honey and dried fruit. All topped with spices. For us, liquid gold!

We try not to keep coffee on the shelves for long, so if we don't have a particular coffee in stock, we have to replenish the order after the roasting day. We roast on Tuesdays and Thursdays, pack the coffee and send it out on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Alberto Martinez is the first coffee producer in his family. He bought the La Parada farm about 15 years ago and has been growing it with his wife and sons ever since. The farm grows Colombia, Catimor, Gesha, Pacamara and Pink Bourbon varieties.
The farm is located in the village of Arenosa, in the Algericas region of Huila. It is located at a very high altitude of 2,000 metres above sea level, which is very beneficial to the profiles of the coffees that are grown there. The Martinez family also pays a lot of attention to the processing, which translates even more into quality. For this flight, after harvesting, the coffee fruit was sealed for 72 hours in fermentation tanks. After this time, it was dried on tables placed under cover, so that the coffee was not exposed to moisture.
