That's what we like washed-up Colombia for. Bright, clear, joyful coffees. Sweet, but with a fruity freshness. Just take, grind and drink.

We try not to keep coffee on the shelves for long, so if we don't have a particular coffee in stock, we have to replenish the order after the roasting day. We roast on Tuesdays and Thursdays, pack the coffee and send it out on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The word 'micrograin' is used in all cases in our industry. You've probably heard it before - it means a small batch of grains with a precise origin, variety and producer. Sometimes we even know the exact day of harvest.
Chorrillos is a microlot in the full sense of the word. It comes from the four-hectare farm of Luis Alfredo Rojas. The fruit was harvested from just two hundred trees of the Cenicafe variety. In the world of coffee, this is a truly small scale, which makes it all the more pleasing - we rarely have the opportunity to work with such a unique bean.
It is also an example of the positive role that Colombian cooperatives can play. As a small-scale producer, Luis Alfredo Rojas would have had limited opportunities to reach the European market with his coffee. As a member of the Coocentral cooperative, however, he gains access to larger markets.
Cooperatives are sometimes associated with combining grains from multiple growers into one large batch - such a 'maxilot'. Meanwhile, Coocentral supports individual farmers and, in cooperation with our importer, Nordic Approach, regularly supplies Europe with unique microlots. This allows us to appreciate the diversity and the work of specific people.
