We dispatch your order as quickly as possible, within a maximum of 2-4 working days.

We try not to keep coffee on the shelves for long, so if we don't have a particular coffee in stock, we have to replenish the order after the roasting day. We roast on Tuesdays and Thursdays, pack the coffee and send it out on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Full description
It is for such coffees that we run the roastery!

West Arsi is a relatively recently identified coffee region. The beans from this area were previously marketed as a broader category - Sidamo. And you know what? It's great that West Arsi has struck out on its own, because coffees from there are unique and deserve to be treated as such.

Why the uniqueness? The high altitude, 2,000 metres above sea level and higher. Volcanic soils. The considerable amount of rainfall. Finally - the small-scale producers who grow a few coffee trees of particular local varieties by the house. All of this together contributes to the unique character of the coffee and its high quality.

The coffee comes from 500 farmers living around the village of Refisa, in the woreda (our kind of municipality) of Nensebo. The washing station is owned by a local legend - Negusse Debela.
